Black Girl Magic!! Rihanna & A'ja Wilson Make HERstory!!

Our girl Rihanna hasn’t dropped a new album in about a decade, but that hasn’t stopped her from making history in the music industry! She has officially become the 1st woman EVER to surpass 200 MILLION RIAA singles certifications! The RIAA singles certificates are awards given out by the Recording Industry Association (of America), that recognize how many units a single song has achieved in the US market! Rihanna is currently sitting at 200.5 MILLION units! She’s the first woman but sits right behind Drake who has 277.5 million units, and Morgan Wallen who has 215 million units, making Rihanna 3rd overall!

And in the WNBA, A’ja Wilson did a major thing herself! A’ja just signed the largest WNBA deal ever! The 4 time MVP landed a $5 million dollar, 3 year supermax contract with the LV Aces!
