Arkansas Portable Toilet Crash: Family's Heartfelt Appeal
Arkansas Man Killed After Portable Toilet Falls Into Highway During Freak Crash
A 56-year-old Arkansas man has died following a rare and tragic highway accident. The accident involved a portable toilet that reportedly fell from a passing truck.
According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Ronald Langley was driving on Interstate 49 near Bentonville on the afternoon of July 24. At that time, a truck transporting two portable toilets lost one of its cargo units.
Authorities say the portable toilet fell into the roadway and collided with Langley’s Honda. He suffered fatal injuries in the crash, although officials have not yet released specific details about how those injuries occurred.
Langley’s family has since launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses and support his loved ones. The fundraiser describes him as someone who was driving cautiously before becoming the victim of another person’s alleged negligence. He leaves behind his wife.
The incident remains under investigation as authorities continue to determine exactly how the portable toilet became detached from the truck.
