A federal judge has approved the Diddy property forfeiture of property seized from Sean “Diddy” Combs during the raids and arrest connected to his federal criminal case.

According to court documents, the forfeited property includes approximately $9,000 in cash, along with several electronic devices such as iPhones, iPads, and hard drives. These items were taken into evidence during the investigation. The cash was reportedly recovered from the Park Hyatt Hotel in September 2024. At that time, Combs was taken into federal – word”>custody. As a result, this evidence was a significant part of the Diddy property forfeiture process.

The forfeiture became official after no one filed a legal claim contesting the government’s request within the required time period. As a result, the court authorized federal authorities to take permanent ownership of the seized property. Additionally, they can dispose of it according to federal law. Therefore, the Diddy property forfeiture was completed in accordance with legal procedures.

The order follows Combs’ criminal proceedings, during which his properties were searched as part of the federal investigation. The forfeiture only applies to the property listed in the court order. It is also separate from any other legal matters involving the case. To clarify, Diddy property forfeiture is limited to items named in the current order.

Representatives for Combs had not publicly responded to the forfeiture order at the time the report was published.
