Lauren London's Savvy Mom Comeback to Son's Roast

Lauren London and her son Kameron Carter gave social media a hilarious mother-and-son moment after he decided to playfully roast her in the comments of one of her Instagram posts.

Lauren recently shared a collection of photos from her time at Martha’s Vineyard. While fans filled the comments with compliments, Kameron apparently had something else on his mind: his mom’s captions.

He jumped into the comments and wrote:

“U needa caption ghostwriter.”

Lauren wasn’t about to let that slide.

Instead of arguing about her caption game, she hit him with the ultimate mom response and brought up something much more important — school.

“And you need to read that English book for school. Thank you Kam,” Lauren replied.

And just like that, Mom won the round.

Social Media Couldn’t Stop Laughing

Fans immediately started reacting to the exchange, with many saying Kameron should have known better than to troll his own mother publicly.

Several commenters joked that this was a classic example of how quickly a parent can turn a joke right back around on their child.

Others pointed out that Lauren may be a celebrity to millions of people, but to Kameron, she’s still simply Mom — and apparently she’s not afraid to remind him to handle his homework right in front of everybody.

The playful exchange also gave fans a rare glimpse into Lauren and Kameron’s relationship, showing the type of joking back-and-forth that plenty of parents can probably relate to.

The funny family moment came around the same time Lauren honored the late Nipsey Hussle on what would have been his 41st birthday.

Lauren shared a throwback photo of Nipsey on Instagram along with a short birthday tribute.

Fans and celebrities also joined in remembering the rapper, with names including Nia Long, Rick Ross and Busta Rhymes showing love and honoring his legacy.

Years after Nipsey’s passing, Lauren continues to publicly celebrate his life and memory while keeping many of her family moments private.

But this time, Kameron gave everybody a little peek into their household humor — and learned that trying to roast Mom can backfire very quickly.
