A Panda Express employee cleaning over a fryer has gone viral, and listen… this video will have you checking the kitchen before you order that fried rice. 😂

A customer at a Panda Express location in Milwaukee says he couldn’t believe what he saw: an employee climbed onto the fryer station and started spraying cleaning chemicals and wiping things down while the restaurant continued preparing food underneath him.

Wait… WHILE Y’ALL STILL COOKING?!

The video reportedly shows the worker stepping between fryer baskets while cleaning the hood above the station. At one point, another employee actually reaches between his legs to put a bowl of food into one of the baskets.

Nah. We gotta shut the kitchen down for five minutes. 😂

The customer says employees had already put food into the fryer when the worker climbed up and started cleaning directly over it.

And obviously, once the video started making rounds, Panda Express had some explaining to do.

The company says the behavior violated its food-safety and workplace-safety standards. Panda Express says it took corrective action, retrained employees and reinforced proper safety procedures with workers at the restaurant and throughout the region.

The company also says protecting customers and employees remains its top priority.

Now, nobody’s mad at a restaurant for CLEANING. Matter of fact, please clean everything.

But maybe… just maybe… don’t spray chemicals over somebody’s dinner while it’s still in the fryer. 😭

Because imagine biting into your Beijing Beef and getting a hint of lemon disinfectant.

Yeah, I’m good.
