On Thursday I had the pleasure of being back stage at Drake’s concert at The House of Blues (Cleveland, Ohio). It was a great show and he even requested that LeBron James assist him on stage as a “hypeman”. Lol. I swear. Check out the video footage, it was hilarious.

Though it can be said that Afrobeat never died, in recent years its seen levels of exposure that would’ve seemed unheard of when the genre was first created in the 1960s.
