Evelyn clearly knew what she was doing when she demanded VH1 give her and Chad their own spin-off show as part of her “Basketball Wives” contract renewal this season. The network agreed to launch a new show, and as part of the deal, “Ocho and Ev” (the reported name of the series) will take home $300,000 a piece.
That amount of money ought to be enough to make Evelyn get rid of that stank attitude she’s been walking around with, especially considering she and her fiancé are getting paid more than a quarter of a million dollars for about two months worth of work…must be nice.
Filming for the show will begin in a few weeks, as soon as producers are done taping for “Basketball Wives.” Then they’ll turn their attention to the engaged couple as they prepare for the summer wedding that everyone is curious will ever happen. The show should officially be announced next week, with more details to come on premiere dates and so forth. With these two characters, we already know the show will be ratchedly entertaining to say the least.
With a paycheck like that I can see why these two are keeping up the charade of a relationship—if it’s just a charade.
