Ok…with the verdict in and Amber Guyger being sentenced 10 years for the shooting and killing of Botham Jean. . .seems forgiveness went out the window for everyone EXCEPT his family. No one seems to understand why the brother of slain Botham — Brandt — hugged the woman who killed his beloved family member. A hug seen by a world already uneasy about this particular situation among others. Many did in fact commend Brandt for his strength and courage and willingness to forgive while others crucified him for his act.
