January 26th 2020 — the day news broke all over the world that one of NBA goats had passed away along with others including his daughter Gianna. I personally remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the headline came across my phone — I was sick! The news shattered hearts all over the globe and still — him being gone just doesn’t feel real.
A legend. Icon. Father. Husband. Friend. The Mamba! He was so many things to so many people and will not ever be forgotten for his contribution to the game and the impact he left on people young and old off the court as well!
