Today’s Tip: Get that trim! Or if needed…a haircut!

I know, haircuts and trims sound scary! We all probably know someone who has a horror story of how they went to the salon and asked for a trim, only to leave with INCHES gone! I’m just speaking to routine trims that keep your ends fresh and without split ends and fairy knots! Most times we can tell when our hair needs a good trim and or a solid haircut! We can tell when we brush through it, when we straighten our curls and see those ends really on display, and when our hair just doesn’t lay right like it should.

The way our curls lay, can truly be enhanced with a good trim. Especially if you’re looking for a certain shape when you rock your wash and go. That is why seeking out a stylists who is well versed and trained in cutting CURLY hair is key! You might have heard of the “Curly Cut?” Some women have even done the BIG CHOP and while their reasons for doing so vary, just remember hair grows back love! Patience is key.

Keep those ends fresh for maximum health and growth! Whenever I get my hair trimmed, the management and overall feel is automatically visible. Check out some of the curly cut and trim videos I’ve posted below for reference.

Love ya! Ro
