Tyrese Has The Number 1 R&B Album In The Country
Well, if any haters doubted Tyrese could return to music with a successful debut, they should put their foot in their mouth. The multi-talented star independently released his fifth studio album Open Invitation, last week, November 1st, and Ty has landed in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, and the #1 R&B album in the country.
Coming in at #9, with a very solid 76,000 units, that number is quite impressive for an independent release, with no major singles yet. The lead release “Stay” peaked at number thirty-five on the R&B charts. The album is very good though, and it proves quality music, with word of mouth can go a long way.
