Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has failed another drug test, according to reports. Josh has violated the league’s substance-abuse policies twice before.
Josh tested positive for alcohol, according to ESPN.
The Browns released the following statement following the news:
“Clearly we are very disappointed to hear the latest report regarding Josh. At this point, due to the confidential nature of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, we have not been made aware by the league of a failed test. We are in the process of gathering more information and will provide further comment at the appropriate time.”
Josh was arrested on July 5, 2014, and charged with DWI in North Carolina. Because of his DWI arrest, Gordon is subject to alcohol testing.
The Pro Bowl wide receiver was suspended by Browns for the season finale after he reportedly missed a team walk through. Josh, 23, also missed nearly half the season while serving a suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
