O.T. Genasis has been looking for a single to hit as hard as his breakthrough record, “CoCo,” and “Do It” seems to be his best chance yet. The record could not be further from the gritty street anthem he made his name on, with Genasis instead opting for a primarily sung vocal delivery, making for an R&B-tinged track.
Having a Wayne feature definitely helps the hit potential, with Weezy also doing some auto-tune assisted crooning, which he’s still pretty great at. The video is a high budget affair, stylishly filmed as Genasis parties with a Yoga class outside an impressive mansion.”
