CLEVELAND– LeBron James called rumors Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was wearing a disguise in Las Vegas “a distraction.”
James spoke with reporters during shootaround Wednesday morning before the Cavs play the Washington Wizards.
ESPN Las Vegas reported Manziel was in Sin City the night before the Browns’ season finale against the Steelers. The second-year QB was reportedly wearing a blonde wig, fake mustache and glasses, telling people to call him “Billy.”
“I’m not quite sure, I don’t know all the details on it. I’ve really kind of haven’t been all up on it but I’ve heard a little of it,” James said, according to ESPN. “It’s just a distraction for not only himself, but for everyone that’s around him including family, people that represent him, the people that are around him. And he’ll figure it out at some point. We all hope.”
