Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy will be the subject of a new documentary being released this October, by Academy Award nominated director Peter Spirer.
“Soulja Boy – The Movie,” is being released through a deal with Image Entertainment and One Village Entertainment.
The documentary will focus on the life and back story of the Atlanta rapper and his sudden rise to success starting in 2004, when he began recording in his father’s home studio in Mississippi.
“Soulja Boy is undoubtedly one of the most creative, entrepreneurial Hip Hop artists I have ever dealt with,” Peter Spirer said. “His ability to monetize the internet and his grasp of social media is unparalleled.”
