He discussed his new book deal, working on “The Game” set & more. Check out an excerpt below and check out behind the scenes footage.
Other than “The Game” & “106 & Park,” what do you have going on?
We have two scripts that we’re putting into production ourselves-One for a romantic comedy and one a drama action that me and my team will be producing. And then I have a big offer for a movie that we’re finalizing the last details on. I just signed a major book deal; it’s a relationship book or Lack there of.. that will be coming out hopefully the fall of this year. Besides that 106 & Park is everyday. We just expanded the radio component of our show to a lot more markets, including Hot 97 here in New York.
What was it like working on the game?
Working on it was amazing. My first day on set, as soon as I walked out they were like, “we have to re-do some of the shooting order. So we need you to do your shoot when your naked ….that’s going to be the first shot.” From the moment I walked on set, they gave me like two hours to get prepped with hair and make-up and all of that. Then I was butt naked in baby oil kissing somebody I’ve had a crush on forever two hours later. It was whirl wind experience. Luckily I had worked with Pooch on “Stomp the Yard
2.” Pooch is a leader on the set so he really made me at ease and feel comfortable on the set and just everybody was amazing and it was a lot of fun.
