Because pop star Ciara is besties with LaLa Vazquez Anthony whose husband Carmelo Anthony plays for the Knicks, it’s only natural that Ciara and Amar’e would be in the same social circle. But it’s the moments when the pair are spotted only in the company of each other that makes everyone believe they’re relationship denial is B.S.
The “couple” joined LaLa and Carmelo at STK for dinner on Monday, but have been spotted at various other Meatpacking hot spots together. And isn’t it convienent that Amar’e just so happens to live in a fabulous multi-million dollar apartment in the Meatpacking district?
One source told PAGE SIX,
“Ciara is best friends with LaLa and has been attending Knicks games with her, including Monday’s game. Through Melo and LaLa, her friendship with Amar’e has developed. They have been seen out together on numerous occasions.”
And one source reported that the last time the duo were out, Amar’e asked for a very private table.
A rep for Amar’e said, “I know that they are friends,” but didn’t add much more. Meanwhile, a source close to the Knicks added,
“Ciara is extremely close to LaLa and always sits with her in Carmelo’s seats at the games. Ciara has become friends with Amar’e because they are all spending time together.”
The two were also looking mighty comfy at Kiyan Anthony’s 4th birthday party a few weeks ago. Well whatever this might be, it’s a good look for Ciara. As long as Lala, CiCi, and Kim K. are not trying out for a “Basketball Wives” of NYC show–I’m good.
