According to reports, Drizzy’s New York City one-night weekend performance landed him a solid $250,000.

Former NBC honcho Jeff Zucker threw a lavish bar mitzvah at the Four Seasons last night (May 7) for his son Andrew, with no expense spared — except Kanye West’s staggering $1 million demand to perform. The bash, costing well over an estimated $250,000, included a performance by rapper Drake, “tremendous” food and fine wines — and customized Converse sneakers handed out as gifts to guests. “They went all out for this bash,” a source told Page Six of the splashy shindig at the restaurant, which is a haunt of the city’s power crowd. Details on what the party’s activities included have also been revealed.

It also featured a photo booth, bracelet-making lounge and station to make customized phone covers. Customized Converse sneakers were handed out to guests as gifts. Among those in attendance were Katie Couric, who previously worked with Zucker on NBC’s Today and is now developing a syndicated talk show with him. (Billboard)

Last fall, reports claimed Drake banks over $100,000 per performance.

In a recent list by thesmokinggun.com, documents reveal that theToronto rapper pulls in over $100,000 dollars per show. His estimated total per show of $155,000 per show, currently makes him among the highest-paid acts in all of Hip Hop that are CURRENTLY touring. However, Drake’s dominance in Hip-Hop is nowhere as dominating to the Country and Pop scene. The list reveals some of the others acts who receive more than Drake, and topping in at number one are the “Rascal Flatts,” who make more than 4 times what Drake makes per show. (Hip Hop Wired)

While reportedly working on his Take Care sophomore album, Drake recently revealed his involvementon an upcoming film.

Nicki Minaj then asked Drake about the beard-and-curly-hair look he’s been rocking lately, and he revealed that it was for a film role. In January, it was reported that the former “Degrassi: The Next Generation” star was joining the cast of “Arbitrage,” which is set to starSusan Sarandon and Al Pacino. However, Drake relayed that he has “decided to work on my album instead of doing that particular film.” (MTV)
