Dwight Ellick, 28, a former NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneer player and now ex-teacher is accused of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor. Tampa Police say he had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student off school grounds at his apartment back in June of 2010.
Police learned of the sexual encounter after the female victim told friends who then told school officials. Ellick was a math teacher at Freedom High School in Tampa, Florida up until the allegations surfaced.
