WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH (WOIO) – –

Willoughby Hills Police now say the death of 23-year-old Elizabeth Tatum is suspicious and her husband Jermaine is a suspect.

Police also say Jermaine is considered armed and dangerous.

Jermaine and the couples 18-month-old son have not been seen since Monday.

Elizabeth was found dead in their Willoughby Towers apartment Wednesday morning.

Police say she was in a bedroom, that had been padlocked from the outside.

No cause of death yet, but police say there was enough decomposition that they believe she had been dead for days.

Police went to the home to do a welfare check, after Jermaine’s co-workers were concerned when he had not shown up for work.

Police also say Jermaine may be in the Miami, Florida area and has been traveling by Greyhound Bus.

He is also the owner of several handguns.

Elizabeth’s family says she had been planning on leaving him.

In 2006, Jermaine was convicted of domestic violence and Elizabeth was the victim.
