Cleveland Police were called to a house on E. 101st just after 10 p.m. Saturday night after shots were fired at a house party.

When officers arrived, 40-50 kids were on St. Clair and E. 101st.  All had been running from the house that police had been called to.

Police talked to the teen that lived at the house who said that they were having a party in the basement.  Someone posted about the party on Facebook and the next thing the teen knew, a lot of people started showing up that he didn’t know.

A fight started in the basement and carried up to the garage.  One teen punched the suspect, who pulled out a gun and fired 2-3 shots.

At that time, everyone started running.  Once the crowd dispersed, there weren’t any victims.

While police were on scene, they received information from dispatch that a victim had been taken to the Cleveland Clinic with gunshot wounds.

The victim, a 16-year-old was then transported to MetroHealth Medical Center.
