It’s quite the happy birthday for Philly rapper Meek Mill, who turns 25 today. His mixtape, “Dreamchasers 2” caused mix tape site DatPiff to go over capacity, leaving many with this image. (No worries, “Dreamchasers 2” is back up with 252,401 downloads and 55,223 streams as of this blog post. “Dreamchasers 2” was only posted at 2:15 p.m.).

Music blog Stereogum puts it perfectly. Corban from the site writes: “[T]hat has to feel cool, since I suppose that’s the modern day equivalent of driving by a record store on the release day and seeing a huge line outside.”

Take a listen to Mill’s collaboration with Drake on the track “Amen.” Mill will release his debut album, “Dreams and Nightmares,” on August 28 through Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group.

In addition to Drake, other guests include the likes of Ross and Wale, both of whom helped celebrate with Mill last night at Union Transfer. Promoter Sean Agnew tweeted out some pics from the show:
