First off, this is all speculative and nothing has been confirmed. But some people seem to think that Frank Ocean is letting the world into his bisexual life through song lyrics from his new album.
Anderson Cooper just came out of the closet most people didn’t know he was in, so maybe it’s something in the water that’s giving people the courage to be themselves publicly?
Or maybe one overzealous journalist is reaching.
Max, a TV and radio personality who has worked with MTV and BBC, believes that on Channel Orange, Frank Ocean comes out as bisexual. The argument has people talking, but it all rests upon Ocean’s use of a few key pronouns:
“On the songs ‘Bad Religion’ ‘Pink Matter and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and there are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.”
Hmm…seems a little thin to make claims about a man’s sexuality, but I guess time will tell.
