Rihanna Admits She is Still In Love With Chris Brown and Forgives Him [VIDEO]
Rihanna opened up to Oprah Winfrey on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” Sunday night, and revealed how she feels about Chris Brown assaulting her. She admits she is still in love with him and confirmed rumors of meeting him on vacation and seeing him secretly. It’s risky for her to let the world hear her true feelings — how she felt hurt, angry and betrayed. But also how she felt protective of Chris.
“I felt like he made that mistake because he needed help,” she said. “And who’s going to help him? Nobody is going to say he needs help, everybody’s going to say he’s a monster without looking at the source… I still love him.”
“I have forgiven him,” she said, though she admitted: “I was angry for a long time.”
Brown was “the love of my life,” the singer told Winfrey, as she started tear up.
“I think he was the love of my life,” she said. “He was my first love.”
