Yup, you read that right. For the first time in ions Lil Wayne isn’t being sued; he’s suing somebody else. Quincy Jones’ son is on the receiving end of a lawsuit from Lil Wayne for using songs on Wayne’s documentary without his permission.

Quincy Jones III filmed a documentary on Lil Wayne’s life- that Wayne consented to- and used songs from Wayne’s album Tha Carter III. Makes sense, right? Well, Wayne said the documentary was a  ”scandalous portrayal” of his life. And they never got permission to use the songs.

So…he did a documentary on YOUR life, and you’re suing him for using YOUR songs….? #okayden

According to MTV, the suit is being filed against Quincy Jones III for using songs like “Let the Beat Build,” “Lollipop,” “Mr. Carter” and “A Milli.” At least he used the good songs.

Speaking of good songs, a fan is actually looking to sue Lil Wayne for the time he spent downloading his new mixtapeThe Dedication 4. Seriously.

Someone should sue him for lip-synching the hook on “Yuck” during the MTV VMAs.

I’m lilD, and that’s the Word Eye Heard. If I were Quincy Jones III, I’d be suing Lil Wayne for having to look at his face that long to film a documentary.
