Footage of the peaceful truce has started circulating online this week.
Kanye clearly had a change of heart recently. He was spotted leaving the airport when he saw the same photographer. They settled things and it was captured for all his fans to see. (Complex)
Around mid-October, Mr. West got reported as attacking the female photographer.
Kanye West got mad … real mad (Joe Jackson) … at a paparazzi in Miami last night … after the snapper fired off some questions about Kim’s ex-BF Reggie Bush. Kanye and Kim Kardashian were leaving a dinner date in Miami Beach, when the photog — NOT OURS — shouted, “Kim did you know Reggie is here [in Miami] having dinner?” The pap continued, “Did you wanna go congratulate him on his pregnancy?” (TMZ)
The paparazzo said although Ye came close, he never did strike her.
That’s when Kanye snapped — angrily rushing after the female pap after grasping for her camera — but never actually striking the woman. Kim was smiling during the entire confrontation. K&K then got into a waiting Rolls Royce Phantom and left the scene. Afterward, the pap told other photogs, “Kanye West just tried to beat me up.” (TMZ)
Back in 2009, Kanye lashed out at paps and their lack of prowess with their profession.
“Fresh a** picture!!!,” Yeezy wrote unmodified regarding an image of Rihanna. “Yo, why can’t all the paparzzi photos be this good? Well, obviously because most celebs just aren’t Rihanna lol. But on the real, this pic is hardcore. Peep the perspective shot of the city in the back. Sometimes the paps overexpose the lens or have the flash too high taking all the emotion out of the moment. This moment is captured in time now. I look at our current superstars like legends in the making. Like Justin [Timberlake] is the new [Michael Jackson], Beyonce’s the new Tina Turner, [Lady] Gaga‘s Madonna, Jay[-Z] is [Frank] Sinatra…[Lil] Wayne is [Jimmy] Hendrix, Thom Yorke is Roger Waters, these are the champions and should be documented as such. That said, it would be dope if the paps operated with the same integrity and attention of their craft as the legends they photograph….Good job on this one!” (Kanye West’s Blog)
