Mayor Jackson and Councilwoman Phyllis E. Cleveland will host a short program, then guests will join in the first splash of the season. The event is free and open to the public starting at 11 a.m.
Lonnie Burten Pool and the rest of Cleveland’s recreational indoor pools will be open Monday through Saturday. Public pools will be open all summer Wednesday through Sunday.
In addition to serving up some fun, Cleveland’s recreation centers will be partnering with the public libraries and other local locations to provide meals for children during the Summer Meals Program.
