There’s so much talk these days of mothers using child support as a meal ticket but here is something we hardly hear about. Melanie Smith, one of the mothers of T.O.’s 4 children, made a deal with the former football star. Terrell currently pays Melanie $2,250 per month for his daughter Dasha and Melanie is willing to deduct the traveling costs needed for T.O. to visit his daughter in Georgia from her monthly child support. The only catch is T.O. has spend to at least six hours with Dasha. Then Melanie will deduct the cost from the following month’s payment.
I personally see this as an offer T.O. can’t refuse, and if he does it only proves that he is an irresponsible parent. It’s not like he has anything else to do with his time. Why not build a relationship with your daughter? It’s sad that he technically has to be paid to do so but it’s a start.
