At least he knows he almost lost his love (and to put that woman first!)
Dwayne Wade shares his sentimental side on Instagram — posting some beautiful words about fiancee Gabrielle Union.
His lovechild almost cost him Union, and he seems to be trying to make up for it while the couple embrace his son.
He said this about his fiancee:
“My #WCW my #beautifulblackqueen… My Life mistakes gave me you and my life mistakes almost made me lose you but your love has conquered all and I hope to spend the rest of my life with you…”
His son, Xavier Zechariah, was born on Nov. 10, 2013 — a blessing, nevertheless.
“I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy,” Wade said. “So I’m moving on.”
But Wade is NOT only confessing to new lengths his love for Union, but he’s definitely a loving father.
He is after all the “Father First: How My Life Became Bigger than Basketball“ author who divorced his high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches and won primary custody or their two sons, Zaire and Zion.
“I will always focus on what’s most important to me and my family, and that’s being a great father. I’ve always tried to show my importance in my kids’ lives and it doesn’t change now.”
And that’s what he’s doing!
The couple have definitely reconciled, worked through the betrayal and are now soon-to-be married… with three children already.
