Rasheeda is coming clean about why she decided to stay with Kirk Frost after he cheated on her on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
Kirk and Rasheeda have been through all types of major drama in their relationship over the last few years. It seems they’ve been having a really hard time getting on the same page about how their personal and working relationships should operate.
Last season, though, Kirk made the awful decision to cheat on Rasheeda and they’ve been fighting ever since. They’re trying to repair their relationship now, but it hasn’t been easy. Even so, Rasheeda doesn’t plan to give up on her marriage,
“I know people who would’ve left and I know people who have been through way, way worse and stayed and have overcome their obstacles,” Rasheeda told HelloBeautiful.com.
“People make mistakes and bad things happen. I make mistakes; he makes mistakes,” Rasheeda explained. “Sometimes you have to step back and you have to say, ‘OK, let me reevaluate this situation.’ That doesn’t always mean divorce.”
Rasheeda knows that not everyone can stick together through infidelity. However, she advises that if leaving a relationship is a consideration, make sure it is truly what you want.
“If you decide that you can’t take anymore, make your decision, but don’t let anyone else make it for you,” said Rasheeda, who added that her decision to stay isn’t a pass for Kirk to continue messing around without consequence. “Will I take some more sh*t? There’s no room for error!”
She isn’t just talking about remaining faithful; she’s talking about all aspects of their relationship. As such, Kirk could be on thin ice. He really offended Rasheeda when he decided to get proof that he fathered their son Karter. Rasheeda remembers the moment she saw Kirk give baby Karter the paternity test, and she was furious! She recalled, “I was on fire. Evidently, when he did it, I didn’t know and I had ended up knowing about it later. So, I was super pissed. How you gonna disrespect my baby like that?”
She added, “The whole maternity sh*t pissed me off. It wasn’t even the fact that you flexed like you thought I was cheating. It was the fact that he swabbed my baby’s mouth.”
