Nicki Minaj Debuts New & Improved Twerking Skills In “Anaconda” Teaser

Nicki Minaj is having the best week ever. After releasing the pop anthem of the summer “Bang Bang” with Jesse J and Ariane Grande, the Barb dropped the “Flawless” remix with Beyonce and song “Anaconda.”

Takes a deep breath.

To top off her already impressive weekend, Nicki released a 15-second teaser clip of the “Anaconda” video, where she debuts her new and improved twerking skills. If you thought the controversy surrounding the “Anaconda” artwork was intense, wait ’til critics get a glimpse of her rump shaking against the Sir Mix-A-Lot sampled beat.

In related news, Nicki called in to “Ebro In The Morning” to discuss recording the”Flawless” remix with Beyonce and said Jay personally called her last month and informed her that Beyonce wanted to collaborate with her on the project.

“After I got proper medical help and started breathing again, I was like ‘What?!’” Nicki joked. “She sent me a version that she wanted and she told me ‘I want you to be you, I don’t want you to hold back,’” she added before describing Bey’s demeanor in the studio. “I recorded the verse in new York and she stopped by the studio. She was such a sweetheart. She was hyping me up, like ‘Do your thing.’”

Nicki also revealed that she is open to working with Remy M, who was recently released from prison. “Before Remy even came home I said I would love to [work together]. I was a fan of hers before she went to jail. I always felt like she was at the top of her game.”

Michael Strahan & Nicole Murphy Call Off Their Engagement

Michael Strahan was supposed to be celebrating one of the greatest achievements of his career–being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, this weekend but instead he was battling a media swarm around his marriage. The football star’s engagement to “Hollywood Exes” star Nicole Murphy was called off!

“They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship,” his rep told PEOPLE.

Despite the melancholy news, Michael seemed enthusiastic at the Hall Of Fame event. “This has been the best weekend of my life,” he said.

Strahan went through a highly publicized divorce from wife Jean Muggli in 2006 after Muggli accussed him of being domestic abuse, cheating and poor parenting. Murphy also went through a divorce. She and Eddie Murphy also parted ways in 2006.

Beyonce’s Backup Dancer Dispels Divorce Rumors

We’re reaching out wits end with the rumors surrounding Beyonce and Jay’s marriage and it looks like Beyonce’s team has too! In a rare move, Bey’s backup dancers commented on the Carter’s marital state and from their perspective, things are mostly fine in paradise. We know, we know…it’s so far-fetched for Jay and Bey to be normal and go through the typical problems most couples face.

According to Bey’s lead dancer Ashley Everett (the gorgeous gal with the vibrant red curls) told Yahoo news:

I think after a certain amount of time there’s only so much a person can take, but she’s expressed it through her art and through her music and so I guess that’s her outlet.”

It shows the love, it shows the affection. The love, the hate, the relationship, real things that go on in a relationships.”

She is much more down to earth than I think a lot of people think. Especially now since she has Blue. She use to be like all about work and now it’s about family and Blue.”

Another one of Bey’s dancers Tiffany Monique Riddick said this, ““I’m SO SICK of the media and the LIES they concoct at the expense of people’s lives and their families.”

Beyonce had her own bit to say about the rumors surrounding the infamous elevator brawl. “”Of course sometimes sh– go down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator,” she rapped on the remix of “Flawless.”

Meanwhile, a “source” claims Bey and Jay are sleeping in different hotels. “They’re not just staying in different hotel rooms, but they have booked separate hotels, and they arrive separately to each show,” the unknown informant told Page Six. “I’m definitely not sure that they’ll make it to Paris.”

By the looks of this HBO clip Bey posted on Instagram, her marriage is doing just fine.

In other news, a fight broke out during the “On The Run” tour at the Rose Bowl when a man allegedly groped another man’s girlfriend. The boyfriend reportedly confronted the groper and a fight broke out that resulted in someone’s finger getting bitten off. 

Yikes!

Chrisette Michelle Quits “R&B Divas?”

Some people just can’t handle the intensity that is associated with reality TV and Chrisette Michelle is one of them. The “Better” singer penned an open letter to her fans about her involvement with TV One’s “R&B Divas” and alluded to quitting the show, saying “I can’t participate in brokenness.” Oop!

Michelle took to Instagram and wrote a long letter detailing the backlash she’s received since joining the show.

If Michelle handed in her resignation, she wouldn’t be the only celeb to severe ties with the show. Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, LaTocha Scott, Chante Moore, Dawn Robinson and Angie Stone are former divas.

NeNe Leakes Clarifies Beef With Wendy Williams

NeNe Leakes is not feeling Wendy Williams and thinks the daytime talk show host is out to sabotage her! In case you don’t remember, this whole thing started over a bag. Not just any bag…one that costs thousands of dollars. NeNe decided to mark her Hermes bag with her signature phrases which upset some critics. Wendy had simply posed the question: “What do think about @NeNeLeakes defacing her Birkin bag?”

NeNe went off, calling the host Wendell! The “Real Housewives” star opened up about their one-sided beef in an interview with TheYBF and in true NeNe fashion, the reality star does not mince words.

The thing with Wendy Williams has been going on for a long time. I did not know where it was coming from. Honestly, I’ve done her show a lot. I’d like to think I’m in the running for being on there more than anybody (else). When she first launched her show, I stayed with her the whole hour. I helped her and supported her and then all of a sudden it just switched on me.She started saying things about me. And I know Wendy does a lot of gossiping…that’s how she started her career. But to just start sabotaging me. I felt like she wanted to sabotage my career because she was really saying nasty things about me. And I have done nothing to Wendy. So for me…it was not about the bag….

I was like where is this coming from because I didn’t do anything to you. The last time I saw her, I was nice to her. When she had her 500th show I ‘d given her a gift (a $3,200 Celine Bag). Just to support another Black sister. I gave it to her and said I’m so proud of you. It’s amazing. You’re a black girl sitting here doing your own talk show. You’re opening up the door for me to do my own talk show. I was very supportive of her. I gave her a full-on speech and hugged her. And GENUINELY meant it. And all of a sudden she was bashing me.

I felt like she’d maybe heard something, I won’t say what the things are but I just thought she may have heard something about me. Nothing negative on my part, but about where my career could be going. And I thought she was just hating or sabotaging. You know I thought she would have been like I don’t like NeNe’s bags but she’s coming out with a clothing line on HSN you guys should check it out. I was like damn…
