Nicki Minaj is giving a little treat to her fans. The “Anaconda” rapper released a short film to promote her highly anticipated third album, The Pinkprint. The movie centers on Minaj deciding which romance she should peruse after being involved in a car accident. Boris Kodjoe and model Willy Monfret make appearances in the film, which features “The Crying Game”, “I Lied” and “Grand Piano” all off Minaj’s upcoming album.
The 16 minute flick shows Minaj dealing with heartbreak and romance head on in a series of flashbacks. Could art be imitating life? In recent interviews, Minaj opened up about her split to longtime boyfriend Safaree “Scaff Beezy” Samuels, making fans wonder if her album is outlining details of their 12-year relationship.
