You might have seen that Rihanna is covering the latest issue of Vogue Magazine! Inside she talked honestly about a number of things like politics and her activism efforts. . .Fenty of course and even the long awaited album we are ALL thirsty to get our ears on! Rihanna was also asked if she could confirm her declining to perform the 2019 half time show at the big game with respect to Colin Kaepernick and the controversy behind him. . .to which she said:
“Absolutely”
“I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people,” she said. “I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”
Ok. . .so ya know Rihanna is signed to Roc Nation and this past August. . .the NFL announced their partnership Jay Z Roc Nation entertainment company. So people are wondering if Rihanna’s “sellout” remark was a slight towards her friend and Boss?!
