Last year we learned a big thing about Lil Nas X. . .when he came out around Pride month! And apparently this wasn’t something he had ever planned on letting out the bag!
In a recent interview with the Guardian…X openly discussed his sexuality plus the realities of coming out as a young black man. He said:
“The honest truth is … I planned to die with the secret” ….”But that changed when I became Lil Nas X”
He also shared how he didn’t want to pressure his younger fans into having to dress or look a certain way saying:
“I 100 percent want to represent the LGBT community … I don’t want to encourage them to do something they don’t 100 percent want to do. Especially in like middle school or high school. Because it’s just super hard”
“It’s easier for me” … he continued … “I’m not depending on anybody. There’s no one who’s going to kick me out of the house … nobody to start treating me shitty”
