Could it be a come back for Colin Kaepernick? It has been since 2016 — the year Kaepernick began taking a knee during the national anthem and also the last year Kaepernick played in the NFL. 6 years of remaining hopeful a team might take a chance on him. 6 years of conditioning and training for his comeback. That time could be now as Colin just wrapped up a work out with the Las Vegas Raiders yesterday.
Fun fact real quick: Colin played for the University of Nevada [Reno] which was the only school that offered your boy a scholarship. It’s kind of ironic that the Raiders are technically the only team currently offering up an opportunity. I did also hear that there were two other teams interested in trying Colin out but I don’t know specifically who those teams were. You might recall back in 2017 — Colin had a meet with the Seattle Seahawks but they ended up passing on him.
Anyway it went down yesterday in Vegas and if all works out — Colin Kaepernick might be back in the NFL as a Las Vegas Raider. We will keep you posted on all of that! [Source]
