BET took the time this morning to announce the 2023 Nominations and Ro Digga & Ryan Wolf of the Day Party have all the details. During cocktales today on the Day Party, Ro went over the highlights from those nominated for this year’s BET awards. The 2023 BET Awards air live on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time and 5 PM Pacific Standard Time.
Drake led the 2023 nominations with 7 nominations for this year’s show. Drake brought in nominations for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Collaboration, RnB/Pop Artist, Album of the Year, and Viewers Choice to name a few. Following Drake, 21 Savage and Lizzo both brought in 5 nominations. Then Beyonce, SZA, Chris Brown, and Ice Spice all brought in 4 noms.
The highly coveted ‘Album Of The Year’ award nominees are as follows, ‘Anyways Life’s Great’ by Glorilla, ‘Breezy’ by Chris Brown, ‘God Did’ by DJ Khaled, ‘Her Loss’ by Drake & 21 Savage, ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steepers’ by Kendrick Lamar, ‘Renaissance’ by Beyonce, and finally ‘SOS’ by SZA.
