A few hours after the Denver Nuggets won their first NBA franchise title and celebrated with fans. They defeated the Miami Heat, in game 5, 94-89.
Nikola Jokic was given the NBA Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP on Monday.
A few hours after the Nuggets won the championships, there were gunshots that rang out about a mile from the Ball Arena.
A gunman had started shooting injuring 9 people, and the gunman was also injured during the shooting as well.
As of now reports are not calling the shooting fatal, but that people were injured.
Reports do not say what what the cause of the altercations but it is at this time being investigated.
