Well damn! That was fast — Jeezy and Jeannie got married (beautiful wedding by the way) just 2 years ago! The rumor is JEEZY filed for divorce Thursday (yesterday) from his wife Jeannie Mai! Now while the reason behind his filing hasn’t been revealed — it’s being said that the couple have reportedly been separated and that he is seeking joint legal custody of their daughter together. Also mentioned is that Jeezy and Jeannie signed a prenuptial agreement.
Now this most certainly comes as a surprise (to me at least) considering there hasn’t been any news or rumor of trouble in their marriage and of course if you’re an outsider looking in on social media, the two have always looked happy. Between Jeannie being front and center at Jeezy’s shows and even her most latest social video featuring their daughter and support for Jeezy’s new book (seen below), this news comes as a surprise to many!
While there hasn’t been any confirmation of this news from Jeezy or Jeannie, the reality is we really don’t know what goes on behind closed doors and while everything may look good in photos and videos, that isn’t always the case! Til it’s confirmed though, let’s just hope they are well overall!
