Do you remember the DC sniper? Well I do. I was a freshman college student at Howard University in Washington DC. It was one of the scariest times in my life…not knowing if a bullet from anywhere could end my life without notice. Imagine having to run everywhere ducking and dodging at gas stations and in parking lots. It was like a war zone. We could never be to careful. No one was safe…anyone could be his next target.
Now John Allen Muhammad’s day has come. He is set to be executed today. Though this day is long awaited by some, nothing can bring back the lives he so selfishly took…not even taking his life.
