Team curly girl over here so I know all about the maintenance that goes into our crowns! Today’s Tip: Apply your product to WET hair!
Applying your products to wet hair maximizes definition and reduces frizz! If your hair is dry, your curl pattern is already compromised and you’ll end up having to use way more product. Wet hair application makes it easier to distribute product evenly, and it makes combing or brushing the product through your hair easier too. Your curls will be more define! The key is that after you’ve applied the product to your wet hair, try not to touch your hair. Personally, I apply my product and then leave my hair alone to air dry for at least 15 minutes before I use a diffuser to finish off the process.
NOTE: Once your product has been applied to your wet hair, you can always use a microfiber towel or cotton tee shirt to gently clamp your ends to remove the excess moisture. Don’t overdue it though!
