Disney’s live action animation remake of The Lion King has definitely paid off for them! The movie we all fell in love with years ago [obviously the original version] is now the Disney Studios highest rated animated movie ever! Released back on July 19 — the remake has already grossed $1.3 billion worldwide and then some!
On top of that!
The Lion King has earned $1.65 billion at the box office — making it the seventh highest grossing film of all time! Outranking the 2012 box office hit — The Avengers! ⠀⠀

So shout out to Disney and all the people who made The Lion King “come to life” in major ways!
