I am a Rebel and Freedom is my Cause December 26 we lost one of Africa’s greatest activist/poets, Dennis Brutus. Brutus, freedom fighter, social justice activist, environmentalist, and poet extraordinaire, died from prostate cancer in his home in South Africa.
