Its just not Ja Rule’s year. The rapper who is scheduled to serve a two year sentence in June for a gun possession charge, just plead guilty to tax evasion to the tune of $3 million dollars.
According to reports Ja Rule, real name Jeffery Atkins, admitted that he failed to pay federal taxes in New Jersey on $3 million he earned between 2004 and 2006.
As part of a plea agreement, the government dismissed two counts against him for unpaid taxes on income earned in 2007 and 2008.
…He faces up to one year in prison and $100,000 in fines on each count.
Looks like my prayer list today just keeps getting longer and longer. SMH
