The Cleveland Police Department is trying to figure out what led to multiple shootings early Friday morning in Public Square, Fox 8’s Stacey Frey reports.

The incident started as the crowd was letting out of Club Allure near the intersection of West 2nd Street and Public Square. The shootings occurred a block away in front of John Q’s Steakhouse, located at the corner of West 3rd Street and Frankfort Avenue.

One of the victims ran from the scene, dripping blood on the streets and on vehicles before ending up near West 6th Street and St. Clair Avenue.

An Emergency Medical Service (EMS) dispatcher tells Fox 8 News that three people were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center. Their conditions are not yet known.

Investigators continue to piece together what happened in the moments prior to the shootings. One club patron says everything seemed to be going fine.

“I was completely shocked,” he said. “I was in the club the whole time. … No problems. No nothing.”

A CPD dispatcher did not know of any suspects. No arrests have yet been made.
