*Cameron Diaz, the 39-year-old actress who recently split from baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, is reportedly dating her former flame P Diddy. Yes, that’s right, “former.”

The couple has allegedly been hooking up on-and-off since 2008, but a source tells US Weekly their relationship is back on for definite.

It is understood the couple first hooked up during Oscars week in 2008, but they’ve kept in touch since – with an insider saying, “Since then, when she’s single, she’ll booty call him.”

However, the pair appears to have gone public with their latest fling after being spotted in a booth at New York’s Catch venue on Oct. 24, 2011, with a source claiming the pair were, “inseparable,” adding, “they had their hands all over each other.”

Two week later, the stars were at it again, this time at the Scarpetta restaurant in Beverly Hills, with one onlooker saying they were, “making out, acting romantic. “Representatives for both stars claim the pair are “just friends” and that the meetings were set up to discuss a possible comedy film project together.

There is one potential hitch to the romance though – P Diddy, aka, Sean Combs is still said to be dating the model Cassie, although a friend told Us Weekly, “Diddy’s single whenever there’s a better offer on the table!”
