According to MemphisRap.com, 72-year-old Margie Rhea Ramey is accused of shooting multiple times at a family attempting to back up in her driveway in Hawkins County, Tenn.

The incident happened Sunday when Oscar Scott, his wife and five kids age 4-12 were on their way home to Virginia after vacationing. Upon their return they got lost.

The road was narrow and Scott was forced to back their Chevy Tahoe in Ramey’s driveway.

During that quick turnaround, a woman identified as Ramey allegedly started shooting her rifle at the car from the porch. No one was hit but Scott said a bullet hit the baseboard of the SUV.

“I hadn’t even begun to turn my wheels to pull in her driveway,”

Scott told the Kingsport Times-News.

“I just put my vehicle in reverse, and just as quickly as I put it in reverse I heard her hollering and my little boy said, ‘does she got a gun’. About that time she started shooting.”

NsnNOW reported that Police said Ramey admitted to firing shots claiming she had a problem with people messing up her driveway,.

The driveway did have  a “no trespassing” sign but Police had a problem with the gun-playing grandma, and arrested Ramey on seven counts of felony reckless endangerment.
