The RTA passenger punched by a bus driver was sentenced to a short prison sentence on Tuesday morning.
Shidea Lane was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail, but 27 were suspended. Lane will serve three days and was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
Lane had previously pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct for harassing and spitting on former RTA bus driver Artis Hughes.

The verbal altercation turned physical on the bus in Beachwood when Hughes stood up and punched Lane. The upper cut came after a long string of profanity between the two.
Hughes has since been fired from RTA. He was sentenced to serve three days in jail and fined $1,000 earlier this month.
