Matthew Cepik pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary, attempted murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence.
Cepik is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend, her mother and another man last week at an apartment complex on Goldengate Boulevard.
Police say after the stabbing, he ran to Solon, where he intentionally ran onto US 422 and was struck by a box truck.
Luckily, all three stabbing victims survived.
