Stevie J is a free man once again after his arrest over allegations that he owes more than $1 million in unpaid child support!

Stevie’s bus took its sweet time picking him up from the pokey, because he’s finally out after two nights in lockup, according to The Associated Press. The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” lothario was released from Fulton County Jail on Wednesday after posting $25,000 bond.

He was arrested in front of TMZ cameras on Monday on charges from New York that he’s failed to pay child support for many years. In 1999, court documents state that a judge ruled that Stevie would have to pay $6,600 a month for two of his kids, who are now 14 and 17 years old. That amount was increased in $8,600 in 2011.

This arrest should not come as a shock to anyone who has been following the details of his child support case. It was reported earlier this year that he risked being taken into custody if he failed to show up to court in February for proceedings on this matter.

Stevie has been ordered to appear in court in the Southern District of New York. For now, though, he’s enjoying his freedom. “It feels great. I’m home with my wife,” he told the AP with his wife, Joseline Hernandez, by his side. “I’m just ready to get this behind me.”
