Kendrick Lamar is set to release his sophomore effort “To Pimp A Butterfly” on March 23rd, until then he has released the highly anticipated single “King Kunta”. With a simple yet funky baseline the track is rumored to be produced by west coast producer pioneer Dj Quick. The track pays homage to the funk era and will quickly remind you what would have happened if The Ohio Players & Parliament had a love child born in the crack era. This gets two thumbs up from me!!
